With more than 120 years in the Brazilian market, Grupo DPSP is the merger of pharmacy chains Drogarias Pacheco (founded in 1892) and Drogaria São Paulo (founded in 1943). With a team of more than 26,000 employees, the group's purpose is to provide great service and deliver healthcare solutions to the thousands of people visiting its 1,300+ stores across eight Brazilian states and the Federal District.
Grupo DPSP, one of the largest pharmaceutical retail groups in Brazil, took a decisive step in the evolution of its master data governance by choosing akquinet Brasil as a strategic partner.
With complex operations, multiple areas involved and high registration volume, Grupo DPSP was looking to: reduce manual effort and rework in master data processes; increase integration across areas; ensure greater standardization, traceability and control; and make the process more intuitive for internal and external users.

In the first phase, the implementation delivered impressive results already at Go Live, with 93% automation in the material master data process, driving relevant gains in operational efficiency, cross-area integration and information quality. The solution was deployed in a RISE with SAP environment, reinforcing Grupo DPSP's commitment to innovation, scalability and governance from data origin. In a subsequent phase, the Go Live of MDM+ BRO for Vendor master data covered people, organizations and companies, extending agility, control and efficiency across the processes.
